- Our current Internet service provider (ISP) has transferred their business to another company (Earthlink.net). Email should be forwarded to us during this transition period, but please be patience if we encounter some glitches.

- We have received the initial draft copy of El Nuevo Nacimiento Explicado (The New Birth Explained) in the Spanish language. I am working to format the document for the MJS website and hope to complete the task by mid-December. Why the delay? I'm on the road traveling for business until then. Your prayers are appreciated. This edition of the New Birth Explained is now complete and online.

- We have posted the article The Bloody Legacy of Islam written by missionary pastor Chuck Sligh. This 26 page article with footnotes provides documentation regarding the inherent nature of Islamic religion. In addition, we've published a good article entitled A Contrast Between Mohammad and Jesus Christ. We have also added it to our Articles page. While our understanding of the history of Islam is sketchy, we believe the statements are true--given our limited knowledge. Today, few Americans understand that Christians and Christian missionaries living in foreign lands have long faced the hate and hostility from the followers of Mohammad. Whether we like it or not, Islamic terrorists have now put into action a fierce religious war on America and Americans. Our relative peace and prosperity, the fruit of our Nation's early Judeo-Christian heritage, evokes fierce envy in pagan lands. Our elected leaders must deal with this reality, not by twisting and distorting it, but by facing the truth no matter how "politically incorrect" that truth might sound in the ears of the liberal crowd.

- The volume of visitors (hits) to withChrist.org remains brisk--nearly 100,000 a month and 1 million+ annually. Ideally, since our aim is to provide individualized guidance to those hungry for spiritual growth, this volume is more than enough. Most often I'm at the computer at 4 am on weekends, coffee cup in hand, responding to a variety of questions from visitors and keeping in touch with those believers who've become 'friends and family'.

- This weekend we experienced a devastating mishap. My effort to upgrade to Windows XP from Windows 2000 and establish a home network was a very bumpy road. Fact is....it was down right bruising! I suffered some system crashes and I'm still working to reestablish functionality for applications and some peripheral devices. The worst error on my part involved my abject failure to appropriately archive files, settings, and email contacts in MS Outlook. Of course, the XP upgrade wiped things clean. Yes....tons of correspondence, email addresses, phone numbers--all gone--ugghh. So, please send us a sympathy enote, that way we can enter you in our address book again. For those who are regulars and even less regular, we'd like to reestablish a separate folder for you and ask that you sort and resend correspondence. I'll explain the particulars.

- WithChrist.org was established and has been supported primarily through our personal sacrifice, labor, and money. Since 1995, hundreds of hours have been spent each year creating and maintaining these websites, as well as time spent in correspondence with those who write from all over the world. In addition, both Diane and I have been employed in demanding, full-time jobs for the past 25+ and 30+ years, respectively. The Apostle Paul is our model (2 Cor. 6:3-10). The Lord continues to bless us with generally good health and we anticipate many more fruitful years of service.

- Interestingly, these so-called "Christian" students have little respect for American First Amendment freedom of speech. They have embraced postmodern intolerance that masquerades as tolerance under the banner of so-called diversity. Being agitated and emotionally upset with our critiques and opinions, one young student sought to publicly censure withChrist.org before family and friends and then attempted to deny our right to publicly respond and address his same audience. When his manipulation was thwarted, several of his friends became enraged and peppered us with false, caustic and vile comments. The initiator subsequently issued an apology, but his cohorts remain truculent. Shortly after, withChrist.org was seriously spammed with subscriptions to various liberal and left-wing websites--including the radical, left-wing Sojourners Magazine. Because of our stand for the inerrancy of the Word of God and our belief that truth can be known, a participating professor at the college wrote us an email on 9/22 comparing us and our website to "Islamic terrorists"! If Wesley could only see what he spawned!

- These have been emotional and trying days for all of us. Yet, our hearts are at rest and we pray yours are as well. My youngest son serves as an F16 pilot with the USAF, while my oldest is currently in active Naval Reserve service. Their welfare is always in a parent's mind. The present struggle regarding America's freedom is profound. In the Western world, Christian principles have spawned a free society we largely take for granted. We pray that God will use these current events to draw sinners to Himself. The following article Justice Under Attack by Keith Pavlischek has been added to our Articles page in honor of my sons and their service and sacrifice for America. Please pray for their spiritual growth, maturity, and advance in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

- We have been adding more and more articles. Given recent events, we direct readers to ISLAM - An Analysis. We view the terrorist attacks by Islamic radicals as one link leading to the premillennial return of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. From our position above, our hearts are at rest. Our "blessed assurance" is anchored in both the knowledge and hope of His Return. As an introduction to biblical eschatology (end times prophecy) we suggest John F. Walvoord's brief ARMAGEDDON, OIL and the MIDDLE EAST CRISIS, Zondervan, 1990. This paperback is out of print, but several used copies are available at Amazon.com for less than $1.

- We continue to add numerous articles to the websites. We have not chosen to call each of these to readers' attention. However, of particular note is our decision to create the Position Paper and Anthology Index. The Position Papers, compiled by author Miles J. Stanford, represent choice gleanings from thousands of Christian books (largely the original Plymouth Brethren) over his 50+ years of ministry. As sort of a personal devotional theology, Miles provided an index with short phrases descriptive of each paper's contents. The link for the topic of "Acceptance" is complete. - From time-to-time, we receive email from seminarians interacting with the information contained on our websites. In turn, they also share information regarding events on campus or in the classroom. For the most part, these exchanges are doctrinal in nature, or personal, and thus not meant for public consumption. However, given the more recent deterioration in sound doctrine across the land, this page is designed to inform readers of the sad and alarming state of affairs in our dispensational schools. - Several of you have discovered that the purpose behind our websites is to provide truth designed to facilitate genuine spiritual growth in a modern world. Most often the progression is three-fold:

First the foundation is laid -- BIRTH. Then, learning how to "walk in the Spirit" via the truth of IDENTIFICATION. Finally, the growing believer enters the realm of FELLOWSHIP -- the original desire and purpose of our Father.
We now make available THE PAUSE. In the second half of this small pamphlet, Miles Stanford introduces the "Fellowship" truths, the object of our Birth and spiritual growth via Identification.

- In recent years, dominance by the liberal media has become frayed around the edges. Cable TV together with Internet news and commentary is helping weaken the monopolistic hold over the communications industry. - A KEY JUDICIAL DECISION! has been hand down by a federal appeals court in Pennsylvania representing a landmark ruling against those waging their hate-filled culture war against Christians and the theistic worldview. A federal appeals court ruled that a Pennsylvania [public] school district's anti-harassment policy was overbroad and violated the rights of two Christian students who sought to speak out against homosexuality in accordance with their beliefs. None of the liberal media carried this story!!!

- A recent request for anecdotal information triggered a search thorough my files for a little known publication of Miles Stanford--THE RED LETTERS, made available in 1965. And yes, I just happened to possess a copy, which seems well suited for re-publication at the MJS website. Chapters titles are: Position-Condition; "Receive" the Holy Spirit; Baptism of the Holy Spirit; Baptism of Danger; The Baptism and R.A.Torrey; The Baptism and Revivalism; The Baptism, Revivalism and Demonism; Early Overcomer Emphasis; Neuro-Healing; Neuro-Tongues; Secure in Christ Jesus; Finney Finis, Time versus "Experiences".

- When I originally designed the websites in 1996, the decision was made not to use any "hit counters". We (including MJS) believed then, as now, that such information could be construed as a form of competitive boasting--which has no place among those who name the name of Christ. However, we understand that many friends remain curious regarding the extent to which visitors find our websites. With our recent move to withChrist.org, we receive a weekly WebTrends report. WebTrends provides us a comprehensive traffic report (web analytics) while respecting the individual privacy of our visitors. Currently, our site records 1,000-2000 visitor sessions and 10,000-15,000 individual page hits each week. Visitors are generally (75-80%) from across the United States (a large percentage using AOL's Vienna, Virginia portal) and the remainder are from all over the world. For example, last week's foreign visitors list included: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, France, Qatar, South Africa, and Yemen. [We are rather surprised by the growing list of locations around the world that are linked to the Internet. The list goes on and on, week after week.] The Lord graciously continues to keep the related email to a manageable level and we look forward to many more years of fruitful service.

- As promised earlier, I have completed the first of two MS PowerPoint presentations--Our Histories in the First and Last Adam. The material, adapted from the works of Miles Stanford, represents an outline of the most critically important doctrinal truth for new-creation Christians. Our goal is to provide these files in two formats: 1) a simple presentation that will open in your Web browser (.htm), 2) the full screen slide show (.pps) for those using MS Explorer or PowerPoint applications on their computer. The pps. presentation file can be saved to your hard drive and used as a teaching aid at church or before for various audiences. Netscape users will not be able to use the pps. presentation file.
