THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
As Creator and Sustainer
Before the creation of time and space, before His humiliation here on earth, He existed in glory.
And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. John 17:5.
The Father does nothing directly, but all through His Son and by His Spirit.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1: 16, 17.
God... has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the universe, who being the brightness of God's glory and the express image of [the Father's] person, and upholding all things by the word of His power... Hebrews 1: 2, 3.
He has re-created those who believe, in a new and different way--as new-creation Christians.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.
