Jewish Covenants vs. The Church (Christ's Bride)

This is not a chart of dispensations (οἰκονομία~oikonomia) or ages (αἰών~aion).  Rather, it is an illustration to contrast covenants (διαθήκη~diatheke) which relate to the earth, in contradistinction to the Church--which residency is in the heavenly sphere and thus not party to any formal Jewish covenant.

The blessing of righteousness which flows to members of the Church is by reason of 1) the shared Abrahamic-principle of by grace through faith and, 2) from their unique position "in Christ"--the Seed (Galatians 3:16).  The Church is NOT made or grafted into Israel to partake of any Abrahamic blessings.

The Church is the primary benefactor of the Everlasting Covenant of Hebrews 13:20,21, by reason of her union of life with the Bridegroom--the Mediator of all covenants.  This Everlasting Covenant was ratified in eternity past between the Father and the Son, and was fulfilled with the shedding of Christ's Blood and His Resurrection.  Israel's future New Covenant is based upon the same Everlasting Covenant, i.e., the Blood of the Cross.  See:
